Jeff Messer is a talented comic writer and creator of Sex, Spies and Rock & Roll comic series. He is also a former Host of an IHeartRadio political show and known for his work in Theatre as well. We sat down with Jeff in this one-on-one interview and talked about his comic Sex, Spies and Rock & Roll, Robin Hood: The Legend of Sherwood. What makes the 80s and James Bond's film with Timothy Dalton is the quintessential film that showcases what his comic is all about. We discuss first reading Mike Grell's comics that inspired Jeff to make comics. How getting into the comics industry and then being nominated for an Eisner allowed him to rekindle his passion for comics, reconnect with long-time friends and how his son is involved in his work as a writer as well! We also talk about his ongoing Zoop crowdfunding campaign and what that platform does better than others he's worked with in the past.
