Wells Thompson discusses his latest co-written graphic novel with Dalton K. Shannon called: Depths. This comic follows the story of Emil Parker, a depressed scholar who creates a diving suit to revolutionize oceanic exploration. After something drags him to the bottom of the ocean during a public demonstration, Emil spends the next three years battling sea monsters, elements, and his own inner demons to try to get back to the surface. Depths is a story about survival, guilt, and redemption that reads like The Martian meets 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.
