Richard Fairgray is a comic book writer and artist, known for creating comics such as Blastosaurus, Black Sand Beach, Haunted Hill, SHED, Four Color Heroes, and others. He is also a blind comic artist with a chemical imbalance in his brain that allows him to process images at an incredible speed, remember too much and almost never sleep. His newest comic, Octopus: A Flailing Memoir, is a 144-page graphic memoir about his life and experiences over the course of 18 months. The comic includes 7 connected stories that capture key turning points in his life, including his struggles with suicide, divorce, and relationships. The comic is an adult story filled with complicated emotions and steamy sex clubs.
