Nahuel Fanjul-Arguijo is the co-founder of Negative Space Comics and for the past few years with his partner Alicia they have been creating a writing competition for writers wanting to break into the comics industry. With a team of judges and a professional circle in the industry of writers, artists, editors, assistant editors and agents; this competition allows multiple people to not only find mentors in the comics industry; but to realize their dreams into not only getting published but also the confidence into pursuing a career in comics. Nahuel talks about his own journey as a writer for TV and Film into comics and how finding a role-model turned his life around when he moved from Argentina to New York to find his passion. Not only does Negative Space Comics hold writing competitions, but they also produce and publish their own comics as well.

After A Hunter's Tale Kickstarter campaign, Ryan Claytor needed to recharge his creative battery and started with Mirror Drawings. This lead to creating this campaign for his newest book: Mirror Drawings We talk about the meditative practice of this artbook, when was the last time you took time for yourself creatively. J. Schiek is a comic arist and writer for a number of projects and is the creator of Hush Ronin, which is being published by Band of Bards. In this interview J. Schiek was nominated during an ask for creative people that should be interviewed. While we didn't get to the topic of "How to quit your job and become a comic artist full time", we did talk about artistic processes; retooling a character through different styles of art from watercolor to impressionist to modern styles; How getting a Masters Degree in Illustration and Fine Art solidified the main character of Hush Ronin look and how Mythology and Travelling abroad brought everything together.
